Completely cutting the intake of carbohydrates is not possible, neither recommended. Food items such as cakes and pastries also have high carbohydrates and thus, avoid them. High amount of sugar in these food items increases the blood sugar levels instantly. This excess sugar in converted into fats resulting in obesity over the time.

 Complex carbohydrates are not as harmful as simple carbohydrates. These include bread, cereal and pasta. These carbohydrate containing food items are digested slowly, as the body takes much time to break them. As a result, they take much time to convert into fats.

 Bring down the amount of simple carbohydrates in low fat diabetic diet plan. When the body does not get these carbohydrates to generate energy, it will burn the existing carbohydrates and the stored excess fats. This will considerably reduce your weight.

 Low fat diabetic diet includes fats or calories in their natural form. These natural fats come from vegetables, fruits, and fish oil. Vegetables are also an important source of vitamins and minerals, which are essential for the body. Fruits provide you with natural insoluble fibers that absorb the excess body fats and keep you healthy.

 Weight loss need not mean completely excluding carbohydrates from your low fat diabetic die,. instead it means consuming them in a limited manner such that the body gets the required supplements.
